Marbella is the capital of the western Costa del Sol and has a very special micro climate and geographical location.
Our tour begins with a visit to a Moorish watchtower, a paleochristian Basilica from the 6th century and a short drive through the suburb of `San Pedro de Alcántara´. Afterwards we will drive up to the viewpoint of the `Sierra Blanca´ with a fantastic view of the straits of Gibraltar. On our way into the old town we will pass some exclusive residences such as the `Sierra Blanca´ and the summer residence of the Saudi Arabian royal family.
The old town is well known for its distinctive narrow streets, the Orange Square, the Moorish castle and the `Encarnación´ church.
In the old town, we will have a typical Spanish lunch. Let yourself be spoiled by the large selection of `Tapa Bar`s´ and specialties of Mediterranean cuisine.
At the end of the tour we walk down to the `Salvador Dalí sculptures´, the `Alamada Principal´ and the main street `Ricardo Soriano´, known for the great variety of exotic trees and plants.
